A shertard is someone who posts on the MMA forum sherdog.
You can usually tell a shertard apart from a regular poster as they're around 14 - 17yrs old, live in their parents basement, make outlandish statements and act like armchair quarterbacks. They go out into the town outside the base, get drunk, rape foreign girls and cause international incidents like bar fights, murders, and shoplifting which causes the base to look bad. The shore personnel look forward to their deployments and pray they will stay the fuck underway.
