restauraunch

The foul smell describing a combination of old grease, food rot and bleach, found in improperly maintained restaurants. The term is slightly different than "ass cream parlor," with the latter possessing a strong, sugary odor instead of grease. Combinations of these smells with possible additions like vomit and maple syrup can vary by eating establishment and time of day.

"I can tell this Applebee's has been here a while. The restauraunch is pretty thick."

The Restaurant Effect

Subconsciously drinking water at a restaurant while the waiter refills the glass, resulting in a continuous need to use the bathroom throughout the meal.

This is most often seen in nervous people on first dates

Joe: I drank so much water before she arrived! And when she did, I had to leave to go to the bathroom four times during dinner! She probably thinks I'm so weird...

Steve: don't worry man, you were just suffering from the restaurant effect. It could have happened to anyone!

example: in Naples,Italy in "Sapanish quarter" - "Quartieri Spagnoli" -there's a TAMIL RESTAURHOUSE where some crazy people go to eat something from Sri Lanka...
The owner's nickname is "Sella" because he would sell you everything he has.
