in central Scotland a rammy is the name now used for an empty soft drinks bottle(previously called a ginger bottle). It is named after a friend of mine from my youth in Coatbridge. I know you do not adhere to surnames being used but I think in this case there is an exeption as it is named after Robert Ramapru, and first names would not suffice.

Slang for refundable glass soda bottle, particularly common in West Central Scotland. Originates from a period when empty glass jam jars could be returned to the place of purchase and used as a form of currency, later the jars could be used in many other places including local cinema houses etc to pay for entry. The jam jars were known as 'Jammies', 'Jamys', refundable soda bottles borrowed the name.

Whenever I watch our sweaty neighbor, John, mowing his lawn without a shirt, in those truly tight and revealing shorts, I get all rammy in my wranglers. He certainly knows how to put on a show.
