On General Principles

A term coined by Hunter S. Thompson, it's basically just a faster, cooler way of saying "because of basic morals(usually yours)". Often concerns inflicting violence on horrible people.
“That fucking monkey should be killed—or at least arrested—on general principles,”

Berger's Permutation Principles of Divisibility

1.) Berger's First Permutation Principle of Divisibility states that all permutations greater than 3! are evenly divisible by 6.

2.) Berger's Second Permutation Principle of Divisibility states that all permutations greater than 4! are evenly divisible by 12.

The "!" is mathematically denoted as "factorial."
1.) In Berger's Permutation Principles of Divisibility, 3!-a! are ALL divisible by 6 a y number of times.

2.) In Berger's Permutation Principles of Divisibility, 4!-n! are ALL divisible by 12 an x number of times.

first principles

Starting from scratch, origin from baking as to start from raw ingredients. Most often used in the context of pizzas and software.
The resident expert was out so I used first principles to understand why the website was down. I had to look at the code to do so.

viking principles

Principles in which to live your life like a Nordic badass.
Looking both ways before crossing the street go against my Viking principles. Especially when there is village to rape and pillage on the other side.

the gillis principle

The Gillis Principle outlines the proportionality between the amounts of mountain dew and marijuana that would kill an average human.

Mathematically, 1 Gillis (Gi) is the unit of either substance (Marijuana or Mountain Dew) that would kill a human when consumed within an hour. Both substances have calculated conversion rates based on experimental data.

Mountain Dew: 8823mg Caffeine = ~173 cans = 61L = 1Gi/Hour
Marijuana: 68000g THC = 971 000 Joints = 1Gi/Hour

It can be concluded using the Gillis Principle that Mountain Dew has a far higher lethality rate than Marijuana.
Friend 1: "Hey, did you hear? Jared smoked himself to death last night."
Friend 2: "Yeah that must've been a Gillis-ton of weed!"
Friend 1: "Using the Gillis Principle, that was like 971 000 Joints."

The principle stating that people who say that they are "soo drunk right not" are usually fairly sober, while people who say they are "not that drunk" are usually highly intoxicated.
Max: Dude, I swear I'm not that drunk.

Sam: You just pissed in our trashcan asshole. I think you're pretty fucked up right now.
