A derivative of the term merc which doesn't necessarily focus on status classification but instead identifies the primitive emotions and personality of survival that one must undertake to win.

Get the Murkedmug. The act of being the victim of a murk. Murk is defined as touching all of your fingers to your thumb and forcing somebody to look at you in an act of trickery. This usually results in said victim looking at your hand therefore they have been murked and forever shamed.
