General Motors

Was once the world's largest coporation but has been surpassed by Toyota. It has been the victim of stupid labor unions like the UAW that always threaten to strike if they don't get higher pay (even though the average starting salary for a worker just out of high school with no skills is about $25 an hour), healthcare benefits (which they DO get), retirement benefits (which they also get) and 401K. The union has destroyed this once great corporation. GM has been responsible for many job losses in the auto industry, not just in Michigan, but all across the U.S.A. Don't blame the company. Blame the UAW Union. They demand unfair promises from the company that cannot be kept, therefore forcing the company and the auto industry to outsource jobs to Mexico. GM is not so great anymore, thanks to the antiquated and worthless UAW.

General Motors is the largest employer in Michigan, the 2nd largest auto manufacturer and 3rd largest corporation in the world.

Uptown Motors Car

A car that is so shitty that only those with extremely poor credit, limited cash or lacking in basic English skills would attempt to buy this car. Sold by the man himself, who is a tall, heavyset Italian from South Jersey, who enjoys affecting a “Tony Soprano” like accent, and saying, “fuhgehddabout it!” This dealer has been known to start cars that have poor starting systems up to thirty minutes prior to the arrival time of the prospective buyer, in an attempt to make them think the car is in excellent condition, and therefore hiding the true problem that lurks within, which is that this car, like so many others before it, is a big piece of crap.

Marty was fucked, as he had recently purchased an Uptown Motors car.

Jamie attempted to start the car one morning, only to have rusty radiator water pour out from underneath. It was then that she realized the true meaning of an Uptown Motors car.

General Motors

A great car company with alot of history. Contrary to popular belief, GM vehicles are not of a lower quality than foreign cars, they were simply mismanaged by greedy CEO's and therefore fell into bankrupcy. At one time one of the biggest companies in America, GM is regaining some popularity due to the fact that alot of foreign cars are currently being recalled. GM provides tens of thousands of jobs across the country and actually remains to be one of the most profitable companies in America.

Joe: "Hey wanna go for a drive with me?"
Bob: "Don't you drive a General Motors vehicle?"
Joe: "Yeah."
Bob: "Sweet let's go."

Our car was in the shop almost every two weeks because it was made by General Motors.
