'Lau' is a term used to describe something a person dislikes or does not want to do.

the word is named after revered singer/actor Andy Lau, who when asked by a director to fetch some meat for him he wittily replied 'Lau the beef...' and so has from then on been synonymous with laziness and skilled acting.

A member of the group the Laus. The laus are a group opposed to science lessons (especially those taught by Mr Roper). A lau is intelligent and extremely kewl but prefers arty subjects (art/drama) to factual subjects (science/maths). The name lau comes from the maiden name of lau 2's mother.
