Based on newscaster Ernie Anastos cursing to the weatherman Nick Gregory, after Gregory gives his idiotic weather forecast on 9/16/09. Anastos, in some mocking banter to Gregory, said, "It takes a tough man to make a tender forecast, Nick." Gregory responded, "I guess that's me?". Anastos bitingly, and hilariously, adds "Keep fucking that chicken!"

After the president pledged to spend billions of dollars to prevent encrypted communications, a voice was heard from the back of the press room: "Keep fucking that chicken, Obama!"

A reference to a joke about a man going to a whorehouse.

Shortened version: A man goes into a whorehouse and says he's jaded and wants something completely different, so he's told to go into a room where he sees a chicken. He says, "What am I supposed to do with that?" He's told, "You're supposed to fuck it!" So he shrugs, takes his clothes off, and starts chasing the chicken around the room, but after 20 minutes, clawed, pecked and bleeding, he gives up. He walks out of the room and down the hall, where he sees a group of people looking through a window at a woman having sex with a donkey. "That's disgusting," he says. "That's nothing," one of the men says. "A few minutes ago there was a guy trying to fuck a chicken!"

Thus the phrase, "Keep fucking that chicken."
