Heterophobia is discrimination against heterosexuals. Contrary to what people tend to believe, it does exist, it's just quite uncommon and/or unnoticed especially compared to homophobia.
"While I am against homophobia and transphobia, I am also against heterophobia. Nobody should be discriminated against based on sexuality, gender, ethnicity, religion or anything like that."

It's a made up word describing the hate toward straight people by LGBTQ+ members as a way to "boost" their confidence in themselves, so they insult and make jokes of straight people just because they aren't gay so that makes them less worthy of respect or assuming that they are homophobics. Usually to fell better and get revenge of the days of oppression of LGBTQ+
Joe: You straight people are weird.
Adam: Hey! don't insult an entire group because of the action of certain person. That's heterophobia.

Heterophobia is the discrimination of straight people by the members of the LGBT community, most of the time on the internet.
Heterophobia, unlike homophobia, isn't followed with physical violence, but only jokes and sarcasm with bad intentions, insults, threats, and a general reject of the straight community.
Heterophobia is strongly tied to Cisphobia.
The reason Heterophobia exists is because of Homophobia, and after years of oppressions, the LGBT community used it as a way to defend themselves, except some of them push it way too far.
The LGBT community refuses to think Heterophobia is real because "you can't oppress a majority" and "it's not rooted in society", except that discrimination isn't about a majority oppressing a minority because it's in their society, it's about people rejecting people for who they are.

LGBT : You can't join the discussion, you're straight, you don't know oppression
Straight : That's discriminatory, I just want to give my opinion...
LGBT : Oh, so sad, you think Heterophobia exists, let me drink your straight tears

the literal fear of straight people, not like homophobia which is the hatred to queer people, an example of heterophobia can be fear of coming out due to what it can lead to or fear of walking alone at night as a visible queer person
straight people doesn’t get killed, bullied, fired, put in danger, seen as a freaks, can get married in any country, or anything, when queer people uses straight negatively it’s a coping mechanism, every queer person on earth is the victim of homophobia, it doesn’t even count as dark humour it’s just a coping mechanism

A term coined within recent years, which means the hate or general dislike of heterosexual people. It is extremely controversial and scrutinized, specifically by 2SLGBTQ+ people. Now personally I believe it is an issue, although it isn't as big of an issue, it's still as important. The aforementioned 2SLGBTQ+ people (Two-Spirited, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer +*) do have a certain group of them that enjoy scrutinizing heterosexual people for their orientation, or acting as if they're superior to heterosexuals, this is mostly seen on Tumblr, Twitter and rarely on Instagram. (Now please keep in mind I'm saying a certain group, not generalizing all of these people, which I've actually seen the reverse happen on the aforementioned social media platforms.) Though heterosexuals aren't marginalized, that doesn't leave an excuse to attempt to scrutinize them. For example, if a heterosexual was mean to you, it doesn't make them all horrible and give you an excuse to hurt them on social media. Same goes for having a bad experience with homosexuals, it doesn't make them all horrible and give you an excuse to hurt them on social media. Both sides have problems, but the (legitimate, not the ones homophobes have) problems with 2SLGBTQ+ people sometimes go ignored. I wish we could all get along, but there will always be hate in this world, on both sides

Emma: I fucking hate those dumb Straggots! I'm so oppressed!
Mike: Whoa! isn't that hetererophobia?
Emma: Shut up, you inferior cishet!
Heterophobia isn't a good thing.
Nor is Homophobia!
