Stands for "High Definition Television". A kick ass video format with resolutions of 720p (1280x720 pixels progressive), 1080i (1920x1080 pixels interlaced) and 1080p (1920x1080 pixels progressive). Can be up to 6 times the quality of standard definition video. Using a proper HDTV (not an EDTV) viewing medium, it can be as good as looking through a window.

HDTPM Spanish slang and(or) insult meaning “Hijo de tu puta madre” “son of a bitch” but longer, emphasizing that “your mother is a bitch”. It can be stronger than or a variation of HDP “hijo de puta” which is literally “son of a bitch”.

(It can be used in a friendly manner or as an expression of any sort of feeling like excitement, anger, relief, etc...)

Nevertheless it is mostly used as an insult In non friendly conversations unless the situation or the tone imply otherwise.
