Gonaloon

Gonaloon - a black, 4-legged, nocturnal scavenger that brings back trophy items to human homes it protect. They typically travel in pairs and have been known to reincarnate back to their former image upon death.

Etymology: Old English GAN "to go, depart" and LOON from Latin LUNA, "moon"

Don't go too far into the woods; a Gonaloon is out.

From the Greek GONATOs + PHILE, "Knee" and "Lover of."

Not to be confused with "gonad."

Gonadotropin
