Fandoom is what many people probably associate with the unfortunate example of the game Undertale by Toby Fox (No offense to Toby). Many people enjoyed the game, but too many people took things too far, and nowadays what used to be considered a fun game is treated by many as a home of awkward people without a life. Fandoom usually doesn't set in immediately, often it's actually the thing has become extremely popular and known. Fandoom nearly always leads to the community it destroyed into becoming an ironic meme.
It's too bad that fandoom happened to that FIve Nights at Freddy's game. I thought it was cool, but not anymore. Hopefully fandoom doesn't happen to something like Rick and Morty.
