Family Guy Personality Syndrome (FGPS)

When someone is overly obsessed with the hillarious hit tv-show Family Guy. Some common symptoms of this can be things like; boring the living crap out of your friends by telling the same Family Guy jokes over and over, turning all of your conversations into "did you see yesterdays episode?" or "so Peter was like...". One of the most irritating and shit indulcing symptoms is retelling an entire episode word by word thus extremely boring the other person. If not treated it can leave your personality consisting of nothing but Family Guy jokes.

Family Guy Personality Syndrome (FGPS) victim: Did you see yesterday's episode?!? I almost shit my pants twice!!

Diego: Ehh, no.

FGPS victim: Welllll, let me tell you the whole episode detail by detail! Don't worry it will only take about half an hour and be nowhere near as funny as actually watching it.

*Diego has now left the conversation, or risk getting a severe ear injury.*

Very formulaic and repetative mainstream animated comedy. Other than a few jokes that could be cast-offs from the NEWER series of The Simpsons, half the humour starts with words such as "remember the time when..." which lead into some "humorous" random flashback sequence, the other half being visual references to pop culture past and present that you can see coming from a mile off... Loses it's freshness well within the 3 episode mark.

Also manages to spawn annoying catch phrases that trendies and wannabe liberal hipsters like to repeat.

The fans are usually irritating too.

Kid 1: family guy iz so awesum!1
Kid 2: No, go and watch some Blackadder, Red Dwarf, or if you realy need animated comedy, South Park. At least they don't resort to 1937284562 "remember the time when..." jokes

Familyguytis

When something (typically a piece of media) is entertaining for the first few minutes/seconds, but then you realize that the content of those first few minutes/seconds is all that it has to offer. Named after Family Guy, who is infamous for having jokes that are funny for the first few seconds but then the rest of the joke is just that punchline extended, variably from a few minutes afterwards to sometimes even the entire episode.

My problem with a lot of horror movies is that they got Familyguytis; they have that one interesting gimmick or concept that reels you in but then they just refuse to expand upon it after it's introduced.

Family Guy Funnies

A short formed video, usally a tiktok, with a family guy or south park clip with Chinese text underneath along with English Subtitles. And then some goofy mobile game or a satisfying video below it. These videos are for the most braindead individuals to enjoy, since they are just entertainment stimulus in the goofiest way.

John: "Bro my For You Page is just all Family Guy Funnies"
Bill: "Same here, I've seen the same clip 100's of times now"
