A slutty outfit that you really shouldn't be wearing on any other day than Halloween, unless you're in Seaside Heights.

An outfit donned by either losers, freaks, or Peter Parker. One can tell if the costume is worn by a loser or a freak, as they will have attached false legs to it to simulate the eight legs of an arachnid. On the other hand, when the costume is worn by Peter Parker, he then becomes Spider-Man. It will be very obvious when this happens because of the undoubted element of badass appeal, and the fact that the wearer will most likely be fighting crime and/or swinging from building.
John: I'm wearing a Spider Costume! Look at my eight legs!
Passerby: You are a loser/freak.
Peter Parker: Oh no! A bank heist! I must put on my Spider Costume and stop it!
Passerby: You are undoubtedly badass.

A pirate costume consists most typically of three basic components:
- a shirt (not a t-shirt)
- full-length trousers
- a belt
- a vest
It is then accessorised with some of the following:
- a plastic or cardboard sword
- a headscarf or bandana
- a hook
- an eyepatch
- a parrot
The following rules concern the wearing of pirate costumes:
1. Each person may own only one pirate costume.
2. One must drink alcohol whenever wearing a pirate costume.
3. Pirate costumes may never be washed, unless the pirate jumps into a natural body of water while wearing the costume.
4. If three pirates high-five to a rule, then it becomes law for all pirates at all future pirate-nights.
5. Pirate laws may never be made up while not dressed as pirates.
6. Pirate costumes overrule any theme: i.e., one may go to any themed occasion at which there is alcohol in a pirate costume.

Sally participates in cosplay so much that she practically lives in costumes. She wears her wonder woman costume to bed, she showers in her cat woman costume, and she works in her bat girl costume.. what a Costume Vagina!

the random pieces of costumes or excess materials from making costumes found strewn about a living space once a big event that involves multiple costume changes and/or consecutive late nights out, such as Fantasy Fest week, is over. Usually includes masks, tutus, foam or stuffing, scraps of fabric, tests of painting techniques, wigs, and glitter. Also, when arriving home after a long night, a costume may be rapidly "dropped" giving the "Wicked Witch of the West melting effect".
After a week of partying, it was time to clean up the costume shrapnel of tutus, hula skirts, masks, and glitter to get ready for the holidays.
Fantasy Fest was fun, but the family is coming for Thanksgiving in a week. Time to clean up the costume shrapnel so they won't find out about THAT outfit!
