Commenting back and forth on Facebook to the point where the comments actually don't make sense anymore.

Can be on a wall post, status update, photo etc.

Alright guys, we are officially done with this commentsation. It doesn't even make sense anymore!

person two: My backgarden had a bluetit in yesterday
person one:Oh i bought a new television yesterday.

When some one comments towards some one else on facebook, triggering an entire conversation lasting anywhere between 5- 473 comments. This not only causes those not included in the commentversation to feel left out or dejected but can also create feelings of extreme irritation to those who are included but do not want to be because of the fact that they recieve notifications for every single comment.

Zach: (signs in to facebook) WOW! I have 473 notifications! people must really love me!

Joe: oh, that's just me and Karen having commentversation.

Zach: dammit. I kinda thought...

Joe: Nope, every one still hates you.

When a string of comment replies to a Facebook status get so long it becomes a conversation.

"Did you see how many replies David got on his status update?"

"Yeah, it was a real commentsation!"

The completely normal conversation one has talking only in comments on some sort of social networking site. often results in a success at angering others who may have "liked" or commented previously on a status, or who happen to be in that picture, embarrassment at failed flirting attempts, or sometimes even a loss of major cool points

Dude, i had a huge commentversation with that chick i met at the bar last night on facebook... Now my friends are all mad at me for the 50 notifications they woke up to!

What you call a lot of comments on a post, such as Facebook, between 2-3 people that reads more like a IM conversation; Can slowly change into a topic not related to the post.

Bob Posted: Going to the mall later to buy Kill Zone 3 from GameStop.

Tom: Nice!
Jim: The 3rd one i heard is way better then the 2nd one.

Tom: Really, what's the difference?
Bob: The 2nd ones controls are really heavy and they over did the motion blur.

Jim: Yeah, they really fixed it up. Hey Tom did you barrow Dead Space from me?
Tom: Yeah why?
Jim: I need it back, i am going to trade it in for D.S. 2.
Tom: ok, when can i give it back to you?
Jim: I am in Bld. 10 tomorrow at BCC.
Tom: Can't, i don't have class tomorrow.
Jim: Alright, how about the next day?
Tom: Yeah i can do that. Bld. 10?
Jim: Yes Bld. 10

or: Hey did you see Janes "commentsation" with Brooke.
Yeah, they over took the whole post i put up.
