This word was coined by Jon Stewart on The Daily Show on October 3, 2006.

Republican senator Linsey Graham's comments from the Daily Show clip:

"If it is seen that our country is trying to define the Geneva Convention to meet the needs of the CIA, why can't every other country redefine the Geneva Convention to meet the needs of their secret police? It would be a disaster."

Jon Stewart's response:

"Yes, a disaster, as opposed to what we have in Iraq now. Uh, what's it called when a hell-hole hits a cataclysm? A, uh... catastrofuck.

Term usually applies for someone who has this happen to them on a regular basis.

One particular scenario of Romantic Cataracts: Girl leans in to make the move, guy turns and says "let's walk this way!" oblivious to the move she made on him ... for the 10th consecutive time.

Catarina

Catarina is a very cool human and the more you get to know them the more you'll realise this!!! This species is not particulary shy and will tend to be kind and emphatetic with literally anyone. This types of people are very funny but very lerdas, we love them tho. Catarinas can be found in places such as sofas and beds (watching some anime) but their natural habitat is the outdoors, more specifically race tracks, as they enjoy going on daily walks (sometimes just 3-4 times a week). A way to spot if you have a Catarina in your class is to look around in the beginning of the lesson, the lonely chair without no one probably belongs to Catarina, she's always late! Catarinas are rays of sunshine in everybodies lives despite the fact that most of them have sun allergies that make them go red. This all combined make Catarinas the ideal latina girlfriend that all the boys are looking for!!!

Joana: Weird flex but ok.
