CTNY

Used to describe the "Southern Connecticut" region of Fairfield County Connecticut which includes: Stamford, New Canaan, Greenwich, Norwalk, Darien and Fairfield.

CTNY may be used to refer to the large population of Yankees/Mets fans in this region, the close proximity to New York City or the large city commuter population that resides in Connecticut.

"So your from New England right?"
"Yup"
"So you looking forward to another year of the Red Sox dominating the Yankees?"
"What?!? I'm a Yankees fan!"
