A person who is so absorbed in band (middle school band, high school band, drum corps, brass ensemble, etc.) that they spend more than 10 hours playing their instrument a week.

They are often in the honors group or play first part a lot. They also stress about not having enough time for other aspects of life when it is actually their fault for being so involved in the activity.

Person 1: Dude wtf, it is literally mid-terms week and there are rehearsals every morning for this concert, couldn't they have moved it back a week?
