Branditard

Branditard

A Branditard is a noun referring to mostly middle aged female fans of reality star Brandi Glanville who are lonely and do not have any lives of their own, and they mostly rabidly follow her on twitter. They are obsessed with her tweets, and they worship her and hang on to her every word. They attack anyone who does not agree with Brandi Glanville. They mostly loathe LeAnn Rimes and attack her any change that can get. Therefore, they are referred to as "Brandtards".

Branditards usually scream "Team Brandi". That is their motto.
Branditards glorify Brandi Glanville by usually saying: "We love you Brandi. I can't wait to purchase your book. You looks just smashing.'

bradytard

- an NFL fan that exaggerates Tom Brady’s role in team accomplishments & relies on narrative over facts to create a verifiably false narrative that Tom Brady has had to do more heavy lifting for his team over his career than is actually verifiable with facts

- a sports fan who overstates Tom Brady’s production and abilities as an NFL QB primarily based on statistical data or facts that are the result of things outside of Tom Brady’s role as QB

- a sports fan who overstates Tom Brady’s perception as a professional athlete in order to side-step the fact that he is inferior to his peers when it comes to his level of performance that he actually has control over, I.E. passing, taking sacks, throwing INTs, points per drive on offense, etc.
Saying “Tom Brady does the most with less” or “Tom Brady could throw for 4,000 yards with random people off the street” is a typical Bradytard statement.

Bradytard

- a sports fan that uses team accomplishments like win-loss records or verifiably untrue narrative a-priori statements; ex: “Brady does more with less”, to overstate how good Tom Brady is at an individual level as a QB

- a sports fan that ignores statistical data & film study that show Brady is inferior to a few of his peers when it comes to individual records or production that is actually within his control as a QB
“Tom Brady is the GOAT of Sports GOATs” is a typical Bradytard statement.

brandstanding

Unlike grandstanding, brandstanding is when you take a stand for your brand in a way that is YOU, with your style, accomplished in a way that is both articulate and promotional without being over-the-top.
Kevin used to sound like he was an arrogant guy trying to push his product but now, because he shows us what the product is about and how it helps us, it is definitely elevated to brandstanding for all the right reasons.

brandstanding

my new word to describe political grandstanding for the sake of one's current party or individual POV branding.
The latest IQ2 debate concerning the core curriculum was nothing but two sides brandstanding for their political futures.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
