Small blisters (small raised bubbles on the skin filled with fluid) found on the inside base of fingers (though sometimes on the inside top knuckle of pointer of middle finger, tip of pinky finger, or inside knuckle of thumb) usually caused by extensive rowing, especially when a crew rower attempts sculling or a coxswain attempts rowing in general.

A shot in pool with epic proportions. When no ball is clearly sinkable, a shot with full strength is made with high hopes. If this shot is made and one of your balls is sunk, then it is referred to as an epic blastie.

It is also roughly used in other various sports or occasions involving alcohol.

Blastissimo

Music that is so loud the quality decreases. A term used by acoustic musicians for when the volume of music is so great the actual sound is distorted as a result. This is similar to how screaming isn't just louder than speaking, but also raspier. Blastissimo doesn't have a set decibel level, nor is it defined by audience preference, but defined by the ability of musician and instrument to produce melodious sounds.
