Barackholm Syndrome

What President Obama develops when dealing with Republicans who hate his guts and want to destroy him. Similar to the well-known phenomenon known as Stockholm Syndrome, where hostages begin to relate to, care about, and defend the terrorists holding them captive, except in this case, you are the President of the United States.

Observer #1: "Fuck! Obama caved in to the Republicans AGAIN, even though he had all the advantages in negotiations! I don't understand it at all!"

Ryou Bakura

A character in the Japanese comic and tv series "Yu-Gi-Oh." Ryou is 17 years old, born on September 2nd, and has white hair and brown eyes. In the original comics, Ryou was a transfer student from another Japanese school who joins Yuugi's group of friends shortly before the Duelist Kingdom series. Ryou experianced tragedy early in his life, when his mother and sister died in a car crash. His father is an archeologist who never seems to be around for Ryou, who lives on his own in an apartment. He is soft spoken and kind, but can be very brave and determined if pressed far enough. He is very loyal to his friends, and tries to protect them from danger, including his disturbed other self: Ryou's previous incarnation was sealed into an Egyptian artifact called the Millennium (or Sennen) Ring and is now housed in Ryou's body. Though Ryou constantly appears weak and helpless in the tv series, Ryou is really the one key that has prevented his darker half from gaining the other six Millennium Items, which would grant him ultimate power. Though Ryou is a real member of the group in the comics, he's inevitably a 'damsel in distress' in the tv series, only appearing to cheer his friends and be saved from his darker half. However, Ryou is a character with a lot of loose ends, and one often wonders what he was like before he found the Ring.

"Bara" is short for "Barazoku", an influential Japanese gay magazine which shut down publication in late 2004. 2chan came up with the abbreviated name for their "gay art" imageboard (which has since been discontinued).

Western, gay male anime and manga fans then appropriated the word to contrast with yaoi. Both are homoerotic anime-style art; the difference is while yaoi is gay-male art produced by women for the consumption of women, bara is created by men, for men. Consequently, bara-style art tends toward more exaggerated, overtly masculine physiques and stereotypically masculine behavior.

Bara in this context has nothing to do with "rose", which is what the word means in Japanese.

Break me off a piece of that hawt Asuma bara action.

banrack

It is the street term for the psychoactive substance derived banana peels. It is smoked, inhaled, or injected for an intense high between LSD and DMT. Supposedly US Soldiers used to smoke "banrack" in Vietnam.

A banana is treated with a series of lighter fluid and ether for a span of a few days, then allowed to dry. Then you have banrack, and it is smoked. There are often several other methods, and other ways it is smoked similar to crack.
