Barackracy

noun. A regime of governing that does everything backwards to the detriment of the citizenry.

When he was elected to office, John promised to work for the people. Instead, he wound up imposing a barackracy in which nothing gets done.

Mary believes in government by the people, for the people, of the people, and not government by, for, and of the government. In other words, Mary opposes a barackracy.

The government under the current Presidential administration, whereby the President knows all and knows what is "best for the people".

I thought we lived in a free republic, but apparently it's more of a Barackracy.

The surplus of government jobs that will be created with Barack Obama as president. Used to desribe the large government that will result.

Baracracy

During the 2008 presidential election, the term was associated with the grassroots political efforts of Barack Obama supporters. Baracracy events were small gatherings to educate others on the Obama campaign's stance on political issues and to coordinate campaign support efforts. During the President's term in office it has been used to collectively define the Obama administration's actions, policies or methods.

It's going to take at least a full term to implement the changes that the Baracracy has on their agenda.

An bureaucracy created by the Obama administration. An excessive multiplication of, and concentration of power in, administrative bureaus or administrators.

Did you hear Obama just appointed an insect czar? He is creating quite a Barakracy up there.
