boxing
An extremely physical sport in which two men who weigh nearly the same fight each other in hand to hand combat. Usually little pansies that can't box bash it. There is a chance of developing something called "punch drunk" syndrome where you develop slurred speach, and loss of coordination and motor skills but usually only boxers who get hit alot (pro boxer) develop this. There is also a small chance of death.

boxing
A very hard sport, and one of the few sports thats actually worth the time and effort you put into it. In boxing you learn how to kick someone's ass, defend yourself, and helps you gain self confidence and discipline. Baseball, football, soccer, teaches you to.......be good at baseball, football or soccer. Also, it's an individual sport, so you don't have to worry about your team sucking balls. And believe it or not, you don't get injured as much in boxing as you do in other sports.
I played football before I started boxing for three years, and all I got was a torn shoulder and the chance to get bitched on by coaches and older players every day. And I still sucked as a lineman because I'm not fat and short. And my team lost like every game no matter what I did. Man, FUCK THAT SHIT!
boxing
a sport that i participate in so i know what im talking about.....two people who way about the same fight using only thier hands which are covered by gloves....this takes place in a boxing ring which is a roped off square like thing ....you can win by either a knockout or earning more points than the other person.....this sport is super physical and isnt easy at all....u have to be dedicated.....alot depends on your conditioning caz trust me each round feels like it lasts an hour instead of three minutes

Boxing is without a doubt the hardest thing you could ever undertake. Boxing bouts can last from 3 rounds of 2 minutes up to 12 rounds of 3 minutes. opponents are matched with people of similar weight (often no more than 3 or 4 kilograms apart.) Boxing requires enormous skill, strength, speed, reflexes, agility and incredible physical and mental toughness. People who claim karate/other martial arts are better because you can kick and grapple are stupid. Boxers are better movers and possess much more speed, strength etc..than any other martial arts practitioners, and this is the reason boxing is great- it is a technically simple sport that is still a science and an art and something you need incredible physical attributes to do.
Taekwondo guy tries to kick a person who does boxing in the face, boxer ducks and hits taekwondo guy with a hard combo to the body, taekwondo guy falls to ground and cries.
