A person of any gender who has the potential to be attracted to both males and females. This does not mean that they are:

1) trying to attract attention

2) not-quite out of the closet as gay/lesbian

3) confused

4) about to be unfaithful in any way.

A bisexual person has the potential to be attracted to either gender. This doesn't mean that they will be incomplete without regular sex with both genders; it's more of a potential energy thing rather than kinetic. It's also an emotional/romantic thing, not just about sex.

Although some members of the gay/lesbian community look down upon bisexuals, it's just as real and valid as any other sexual orientation.

Abigail had a crush on Naomi for a while, but then got together with Aaron, where she is perfectly happy and on her way to falling in love. She is bisexual.

Bisexual 

A sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and sexual desire for people of either gender. Often thought to cover the range between the two extremes of homosexuality and heterosexuality on the Kinsey scale. A bisexual is not necessarily attracted to both genders equally; they may very well be more attracted to one gender than the other.

Just remember, appearances can be deceiving. Someone you think looks straight may not be; likewise someone who to you looks gay, maybe bisexual. Don’t judge people.

bisexual 

A bisexual is a person, male or female, that is attracted to both sexes. It is a person who can find themselves dating or getting intimate with either men or women and not care.

It does not mean they're confused about their sexuality, they know exactly what they like. They are just inbetween being homosexual or straight.

Many women find bi-sexual guys very attractive and enjoy dating them. Then, again there are women who think guys who have been with another guy before are disgusting, or will not date that guy because of it.

With women being bi-sexual it is different though. Many men think it is hot or sexy for their female partner to be with other women. They also often think that it means if they are dating a bi-sexual then they can get her to participate in threesomes, which isn't always the case.

Why is it different for women more then men, I have no clue. It is probably due to the way society is now-a-days. Just like the fact that if men sleep with many people they are congradulated by their friends, but if women sleep with a lot of people she is considered more or less a slut.

4 examples for men:

Woman:Have you ever been with a man beofore?
Man:Yes...is that a problem
Woman:~smiles~ No, not at all

Woman:You've been with a man before?!
Man:That's not a problem is it...?
Woman:Ewwwww

Man1:Dude, you've been with men?
Man2:Yeah, so what I've been with woman too..
Man1:Dude, your such a fag.

Man1:Dude, have you ever been with men?
Man2:Yeah, does it really matter?
Man1:No, not really...

Here are some examples for women, they're aren't as many as men, but you get the jist of it:

Man:You like chicks?
Woman:Yeah
Man:AWESOME!

Woman1:you've been with other women?
Woman2:Yeah...
Woman1:What's that like?

FYI, I am Bisexual and hate all the slanderous things people say about not only Bisexuals, but also homosexuals as well. We can't help who we are attracted to, it't just the way we are and stop trying to change us.

Someone who is attracted to two or more genders, can have a preference but not always. They are not just attention seekers, they are not just confused and they aren't half gay, half straight. The flag has pink at the top, purple in the middle and blue at the end!

there are many different types of bisexuals:

you like men AND women sexually AND romantically
you like men sexually only; you like women sexually and romantically
you like women sexually only; you like men sexually and romantically

I am bisexual and honest with myself and others, even if society tries to put me into a box.
