When a man or a woman appears hotter because of the context he/she is viewed in. When the context is remove the person may appear less attractive.

Examples include:
Cheerleaders
Firefighters
Stippers

Guy Number 1: Dude that girl's smokin'
Guy Number 2: Dude it's only contextual hotness, trust me i've seen her out of the uniform, shes ugly upclose.
