But some areas in PG (Prince George's county) like the areas near Laurel shopping center and south Laurel Are pretty bad. Residential areas off of cherry lane and contee road are pretty bad and crime rate is pretty high around those areas. be cautious if you live in PG county. Laurel is a pretty messed up city crime is scattered everywhere so you never know what could happen even if you live in the northern area. police are always patrolling everywhere in this city. If you drive Around the shopping center area you will see at least 4-5 cop cars.
