When a father needs to take care of his own kids or blended family kids. Regardless of his relationship with the mother. Being parentally responsible for making said child and stepping up to care for child.
Puts child needs first before own needs.

" Baby is sick, deadbeat unemployed or underemployed baby's daddy is playing video games. Time to put the game away and "daddy-up" and take care of baby, so working mommy can still support sick baby you helped make, but don't want to take responsibility for."
