Depression

My definition of depression is probably recognizable.

Imagine going to a beach and swimming in the water. Having fun until something suddenly pulls you down under and holds onto you. You’re screaming for help but know one seems to hear better yet care. So you’re just stuck there, watching everyone carry on with their life while you’re down under water drowning, trying to scream for help but have no voice left to say anything.

That is what depression feels like to me

Girl 1: look at that girl. She looks like a wreck
Girl 2: Don’t say that. That girl over there has depression

Hannah: oh hi I’m Hannah and oh btw I’m depressed
Lily: ...
Hannah: *goes back to her room full of LED lights and posts herself crying on tik tok for more attention
