@everyone is a command used on Discord by server admins to notify or ping everyone in the server. If you have online mode activated and aren’t muting the server, you’ll get a notification that plays a sound. Most people who are pinged from an @everyone get very annoyed of this since they could have given other people a notification instead of them.
