Popularized by a first generation Chinese-Canadian, "Bonke" is an abbreviated pseudonym that originates from its contemporary British-English slang term, "Bonkers". The term "Bonke" in of itself showcases a notable removal of "rs" from the end of the word, and is purposely intended to resemble the similar term, "monke".
