Get the cutemug. A word used mostly by and between girls. Often used as a compliment of some sort about physical appearance or objects - hair, makeup, clothes, shoes - although it cannot be determined whether it is authentic or insulting, unless you are a girl.
Girls rarely/never use the word cute when talking about guys. There are many other words for that.
