B.D.P.S.

B.D.P.S. stands for Blind and deaf parent syndrome. (see also B.P.S.) These kinds of parents display the same symptoms as a parent with B.P.S. but they are "Deaf" when it comes to their childs musical ability.

Parent example could not believe that their child wasn't the principle of his/her section in Band/Orchestra. Parent Example thought that he sounded like a pro when he/she practiced at home
