Get the Dolph Houston mug.pidge is the green paladin and pilot of the green lion from voltron: legendary defender. she has short dirty-blonde hair, brown eyes, and glasses. she disguised herself as a boy so she could get into an elite space school called the galaxy garrison in order to hack into their systems and discover encrypted information about the mission to a planet called kerberos that her dad and brother had been a part of. the news reports said everyone had died but the information she found after hacking the school's system said otherwise. they kicked her out of the school under her birth name, katie holt, after she was caught hacking once. she changed her name to pidge, the nickname her brother had given her, to get back into the galaxy garrison as someone else. pidge is a smol bean, an icon, a legend, and a badass. she's also a pretty good pilot.

Get the pidge gunderson / katie holt mug.A term used to express exaggerated joy and approval by onlookers or witnesses to behavior perceived as iconic or fierce (e.g. a death drop during a voguing performance, a friend looking hot in a provocative outfit, etc.), or at an unexpected but propitious outcome (e.g. a celebrity coming out, news of a highly anticipated album drop, etc.), typically within the context of gay counterculture.
The term is a portmanteau and takes the form of a command followed by a proclamation. "Slay the house down boots" mixes the use of "slay", widely used as a shorthand to express joyful surprise, with the instruction to slay "the house down", implying a larger edifice or audience, typically in the context of a performance. The addition of "boots" is used for shock effect, echoing wider gay parlance. "Houston I'm deceased" is a play on the lines used by astronauts communicating to NASA's Mission Control and implies that the reaction was so urgent that a well-known authority had to be notified; "I'm deceased" humorously implies that something was so overwhelming that the speaker has passed away. The impossibility of literal use accentuates the chaos and humor.
The term is used primarily among queer youths and emerged from the NY ballroom and drag scene before percolating into wider gay culture, primarily via memes and alt Twitter. It is used for its flamboyant flair and for its tendency to bewilder straight audiences.

Get the slay the house down boots Houston I'm deceased mug.Whitney Houston is one of the best singers ever in my opinion. Although now she's mostly known for her habits and frequent check-ins into rehab, in the '80s and '90s she was a very favored pop/R&B singer. She married R&B singer/rapper Bobby Brown in 1992, and in 1993 she gave birth to their only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
She is widely known for her cover of the song "I Will Always Love You," which was originally performed by country star Dolly Parton. This song was featured in her box office smash movie, "The Bodyguard."
In her career she has won numerous awards including: 6 Grammy Awards, 21 American Music Awards, 15 Billboard Music Awards, 11 NAACP Image Awards, 6 People's Choice awards, 7 Soul Train Music Awards, 5 World Music Awards, 2 Emmy Awards, the MTV Music Video Award and MTV Movie Award, a Cable ACE Award, the Dove (Gospel Music Association) Award, the Blockbuster Entertainment Award, and the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award. In 1995 she was inducted into the Soul Train Hall of Fame. In '96, Whitney was inducted into the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Hall of Fame and the BET Walk of Fame. In 1998, Soul Train gave the prestigious Quincy Jones Career Achievement award to Whitney, and in 2000, Whitney was honored to be named the Soul Train Music Award Female Artist of the Decade.
Despite her bad rap with the media, she continues to be many people's favorite recording artist, and the reason is not rocket science to figure out. :-)
