The word "Gavin" is a name, but the common misconception is that it means battle hawk. It infact does not mean battle hawk (LMFAO!). Gavin means White Hawk in scottish. Nothing more, nothing less.
The last time I checked the definition on the name "Gavin", a lot of people didn't seem to like people with that name.

Get the Gavinmug. The nicest person on the face of this planet, typically a ♓️ , but if you aren’t, then welp. If you are lucky enough to have a GAvIn fall for you, don’t let him go! No matter what! They are amazingly nice and funny and will do everything in their power to keep you happy. Even if it means keeping things from you, but really he should learn to tell you everything. And if you aren’t lucky enough to date a Gavin, have no fear! They are amazing friends as well. Gavins also typically hate nicknames (especially ones involving Wizards) so true and steer clear of that. Although Gavins are sweet, don’t be fooled! Gavins are very tough, and will do anything to protect their friends.
