Chrissy: Ya, I've been doing some work for Tony, if he gets this new big contract, he is going to pay me, but for now, I am just gonna lay low.

Adriana: Chrissy, you have been doing this for 6 months and he hasn't paid you. You're in the White Collar Friend Zone. Even if he gets the contract, he is never going to pay.

Dude-zoned

When a straight man calls a gay man who continuously hits on them "dude." This is usually done when the gay man does not respect that the straight man is straight and/or that they are in a relationship. However, it can also be done right at the beginning of any type of interaction between a good-looking straight man and a gay man to establish boundaries.

Guy about to be dude-zoned: "How fitting that your middle initial is D... hee hee hee"

Guy playing them in dudezone: "well yeah dude, my middle name is Daniel so..."

Dough Zone

A really sad company that wants to be global but barely pays their employees enough. All management team is made of incompetent personals. Boss barley does any work, clueless about hospitality. The servers are the only one who is doing their jobs, even doing the managers. Insane amount of drama for a work place, especially having the managers causing it. The manager would secretly go through your photo albums without permission.

"You work at dough zone?"
"yeah.."
"Ohh nooo. poor thing"

The zone

This is a state whereby jean basically goes into God mode. In this state he almost triples his productivity and works with the accuracy of 10 virgin rocket engineers. The only caveat is that he gains the moods of a broke woman in her periods and is agitated by literally everything. I would say the payoff is worth it though. He can do what 10 men can do in 3 days, in only one bloody day and he can survive with 4hours of sleep in a period of 2days.
Its best to give jean some junk food during his period in "the zone"

Jean had to go in the zone to finish 3 days worth of edits in only 5 hours

When someone you're talking to doesn't want to be friends, just academic acquaintances. This is a downgrade from the friendzone.

Person 1: Hey, is Sally going to be joining us on our beach trip?
Person 2: No, she said she'd rather just do homework with me instead.
Person 2 is in the academic zone.
