A closed minded person who listens to obscure punk bands and throws it in peoples face.

Reversible, Example: Punk Hipster

Unlike the hipster, they may be hard to spot based on looks alone. Also, unlike the hipster, a Hipster Punk is more rare. One can only be a Hipster Punk if they are generally closed minded about music refuse to admit that punk lyricists can be tone deaf.

What a Hipster Punk may say when talking about music

You listen to (band that most people agree is good), only D-bags listen to that, you need to listen to some (tone deaf punk band that most agree have no vocal talent)

pop punk 

Pop punk is best described as pure, unadulterated crap. Thats right, nothing good makes its way into this music. You will know that you are listening to pop punk when you have the sudden urge to kill yourself. The bands who play the music usually know 3 chords on their respective instruments, plus someone bangs on a single snare drum. The most common characteristic of a pop punk fan is a large cleft centered on the face, surrounded with short, curly hair and a tiny, sensitive bud located within a few folds of skin, in the upper portion. The color of the hair usually matches the eyebrows. A pop punk fan also has no tolerance for good bands, and will commonly say such uneducated statements like "The Beatles suck, man, put on some Guster, rock on, derrrrrrr". You may substitute "The Beatles" for any classic/90's rock band. To form a band name for your own pop punk band, pick an obscure word out of Webster's, and then follow it with a dash and a random number of 3 digits or less.

gay goth punk rock 

The guy made the definition obviously hasn't heard a full song from Korn or SOAD, much less tried to learn or interpet their lyrics. Probably saw their music videos once on MTV, and changed the channel after 5 seconds because they looked different. Most likely a trendy-ass music prep that listens to nothing but pop and (c)rap shit played on TRL and doesn't know the difference between a punk and a goth. I'm not crazy about Slipknot and haven't heard of saliva, but anyone that calls Korn or SOAD gay are trying too soft to handle their music or too dumb to appreciate their artistry(especially that of SOAD).
