2) Two female best friends that are suspected to be lesbians
3) A euphemism for a lesbian couple

Originates from the characters Peppermint Patty and Marcie from the Peanuts comic strip by Charles Schulz; Who are very close to each other and are often speculated to be lesbians.

2) “Those two are getting real close one another…They’re like Peppermint Patty and Marcie.”
