Gothic

A person that has given up on life. Wears only black, presumably to complement the color of their soul. Usually wears makeup only so everybody will avoid them and they can be alone. Gothic people are also scary looking.
Gothic dress is generally characterized as extremely baggy pants inexplicably with non-funcional zippers on the seams, any thing black, also with non-functional zippers, and anything to be found at Hot Topic

The gothic kids are always scary.

Gotheek

A socialy awkward person who due to obsurd and obnoxious personality traits- such as an obsessive interest in anime and weapons- becomes a social reject. After being tormented their whole life (by more themselves than anyone else with their estranging behavior) they turn "Goth" (note the quotes). They believe that their intensly dark exterior will hide the fact they are complete geeks, this backfires because no one really likes goth people either.

Escentialy, a Gotheek is a fake person who acts a certain way in order to gain attention but is so socialy awkward that they fail in their false exterior as well.

"Hey remember Gurtrude?"
"Yeah, she totaly came back from break and now she's trying to act all 'goth'"
"Does she still carry around those anime books?"
"Yeah, what a Gotheek"

Gothic

A "lifestyle" in which people want to be different from everyone else and show that they don't care what everyone else thinks.
Sooooo.....
They typically don black eyeshadow, dye their hair black, wear black clothing that makes you think "bondage" and act like they hate the entire world. Typically, not everyone. This way, they can act EXACTLY LIKE everyone else who claims they "want to be different and don't care what everyone else thinks.

Oh come on, we all know someone like that. Poor bastards just need a hug, is what they need.

A portmanteau of "goth" and "thick", referring to an overweight member, usually female, of the gothic subculture.

(This word is impractical for actual usage due to "gothick" sounding exactly like "gothic", and in writing, people will assume misspelling.)

gothic grunge style

Gothic grunge style is a mixture of soft girl and grunge, as the style has certain aspects of grunge and soft girl too it, while still taking a tiny bit of inspo from goth styles. However, it is mostly grunge. It is almost as if a soft girl were to wear darker colours (black, white, red, burgundy purple..etc) and accessories. e.g (chains, chokers, rings, fishnets, platform shoes, buckles..etc)

This has nothing to do with one's personality/attitude.

She seems to have a gothic grunge style.
