love is not an emotion
love is not a feeling
love is not that tingly feeling when you lock eyes with that certain someone

love is a choice
love is a choice to wake up each day and give of yourself to someone else

when you love someone you choose to be loyal to them, to stand by them, to laugh and cry with them, to see their endearing aspects over their faults. you choose to forgive and forget when they hurt you. you choose to be kind, but firm when needed.

when you love someone you speak the truth when needed, softly and gently

when you love someone you embrace the difficult times, work through them and develop a strong relationship through them

when you love someone you choose every day to avoid betraying them in any way

it can make anyone feel like crap or a million bucks. really sets the gears in the mind(or at least mine) going with all possible scenarios.
