When you are on Houseparty and you’re friend says something out of line, uncomfortable or just downright outrageous you may want to take a moment! Taking a moment involves going on mute and going on mute.

When one person tells a story to another person and the person listening to the story completely ignores what the person is telling them, and just stands there, as a lizard would sticking its tongue out, unaware of any surroundings.

When someone does something of stupidity after repeatedly being requested not to.

Person 1 - Wow, this voice call is really fun!
Person 2 - Yeah, I agree, we should play some games sometime!
Person 3 - Hey guys, can I screenshare?
Person 1 - No, please don’t, i’m running a graphic-intensive game right now.
Person 3 - Ok, i’ll screenshare.
Person 1 - What the fuck, why is my game crashing?!
Person 3 - Oh shit, i’m sorry.
Person 2 - Wow, that’s a glitcher moment.

hat moment

In the offices of a major imaging company lives a hat. On the hat is marked the word Twat in large embroidered letters.

If you have made a particularly stupid mistake in your work, you are made to wear the Twat Hat for an amount of time commensurate with the scale of the stupidity.

This has given rise to the phrase 'I've just had a Hat Moment' and similar.

'Hat moment - I've just shut down the wrong server.'

'Hat me.'

'Pass the hat, I've been a twat.'

Margerita Moment

Applied to a moment of extreme ditziness, generally without realising how stupid you sound/act.

4 people are ordering a pizza.
A: "Do you fancy a Margerita pizza? But with extra cheese?"
B, becoming confused between a Margerita Pizza and a Margerita cocktail, replies, "There's no cheese in a Margerita! Only lime and salt..."
Then the realisation that they are idiots dawns.
