Generally unaffected by life's woes, those who possess a white boy vibe seem to have led an easy, comfortable life. Instead, they are determined to prove to everyone - especially to minorities, women, or those who have lead harder lives than them - that they have learnt every ounce of what they have, whilst seeming loftily unaware of their privilege to a surprising extent.
