Barrack Obama

The 44th president of the United States of America. Commonly thought to be the first "black" president of America- which is only half true. He is actually not black but half black. He IS, however, the first American president of African descent.

He was elected November 4th 2008 to the position of president and will be sworn in on January 20th 2009 assuming he is alive at that time.

He ran on a similar platform to John F. Kennedy- a platform of change. He is also similar to Kennedy in that he has been attacked on his associations with some rather bad individuals (the Kennedy family has mob connections).

Barrack Obama beat John McCain and I'm really freakin' happy about it!

Barrakeesh

Large city on the southern coast of the inlet in the east of northern Magnamund, to the north of the Dry Main and west of the main isthmus on which the bulk of Vassagonia is located. Barrakeesh is the capital of Vassagonia and the seat of the Vassagonian ruler, the zakhan. A large and bustling city, it also has an advanced drainage system using large sewers, a large market-place and a nascent military-industrial complex.

It is part of the world of the Lone Wolf gamebooks, and figures prominently in Lone Wolf 5 Shadow on the Sand.

Lone Wolf has to find his way through locations such as the sewers of Barrakeesh and the Imperial Palace, before escaping from the city.

Barracks party

Also called a GI party, a form of corrective punishment (smoking, or getting fucked up by your leadership in the military) where you take all furniture personal items out of you barracks room and move it to other floors of the barracks or outside to clean the room or to punish the soldier.

Barracknophobia

Barracknophobia is a word invented at indecision '08 to describe anyone who has "the irrational fear of hope" do to Barracks campaign having so much to do with hope, and 'flaunting' it in his slogans and using it in interviews. It was first said on the 'Daily Show with John Stewart', and has been used many times since its original use.

Stewart: Whew I think I'm going to vote for McCain...
Colbert: O'rly? y?
Stewart: I've finally caught...B-Barracknophobia!

barranca

One of the many large drainage ditches that crisscross the small rural town of Somis, California. Some of these narrow canyons are nearly sixty feet deep and are home to coyotes, rats, snakes, and stinging nettle. During heavy rains, the edges of these ravines are subject to mudslides which can sometimes result in the loss of farmland.

Barracuding

The act of barracading onself under an ikea metal desk with pillows and cushions for weeks, surviving on a diet mainly consisting of capri-sun juices and raw eggs. Eventually the person will return to their colleague's and family's bemusment some time later.

"Yo Jeff, Where were you last week?"
