Someone who is usually doing something stupid because they're usually high on edibles.

My buddy said he got high on edibles once and sat at a stop sign for 10 minutes waiting for our to turn green. He such an eddiot.

An individual who possesses formal education or credentials but demonstrates ignorance, lack of awareness or denial of basic facts.

He has a college degree but still denies basic science - what an ediot! My friend, who fails to read books, or concern herself with facts and is highly educated is an ediot.
