Blues Rock

Blues Rock is simply a style of rock music that is the inevitable outcome of the blues music of the southern U.S.A. which became transplanted to the mid-northern U.S. when thousands of black Americans were forced to move to northern centers in search of work in the 1930's and 40's. British musicians in the 60's (such as Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck) began emulating the blues musicians of the U.S.(like Muddy Waters) and blues rock was born. It is championed today by artists like Joe Bonamassa of the U.S.A.

I bought a new blues rock DVD today.

Caveman Blues

The feeling the day after a night out, involving being severely hungover from excessive drinking or coming down from rec drugs (mostly cocaine and pills). Victim has 'the blues' and feels frail, old and ancient - like a caveman.

*throws up*
"Ugh, i'm gonna have the caveman blues tomorrow.."

*wakes up*
"You alright mate? you look like shit!"
"Nahhh, I've got some serious caveman blues.."

Kitchen table blues

Another typical pointless night of you and your friends doing drugs and drinking at a kitchen table at home, instead of going to a bar or disco. The fact that people keep changing the music you have just put on, seems to be considered normal, as well as a constant wave of racist/sexist slurs.

Carl: He john, how was your weekend?

John: Mwah, kitchen table blues with steve and dan.

Carl: You should really go out more dude.

John: Yeah, i know.
