Enlightened Centrist

What political extremists call someone who proposed a reasonable and valid idea or opinions that the extremist cannot argue or refute because the person was right. Instead of opening dialogue about the topic or presenting evidence that disputes the persons the extremists shuts down the conversation by saying that their opinion isn’t valid because it’s “enlightened centrist bullshit.”

In the USA most often used by the progressive extremists in response to any criticism of their ideals, often defended as “morally” correct. Though uncommon, can and is used by conservative extremists in response to criticisms of their ideals, often defended as “tradition.”

Person 1: *valid and logical opinion or arguement*

Person 2: (shit this guy is right but it goes against my narrow and self righteous world view) SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU ENLIGHTENED CENTRIST NO ONE CARES

Central Jersey

Many people have never heard of Central Jersey, unless they have met someone fortunate enough to be from this area. This region exists because the inhabitants here find it to difficult to associate themselves with the debilitated Northern or trashy Southern parts of the state. People who live here are generally more wealthy and more educated - they also tend to have more subtle accents then their less-evolved neighbors.

Central Jersey can easily be defined geographically. By county, only Monmouth is fully incorporated. Start form the tip of Sandy Hook and follow the Raritan Bay coast until you reach the Driscoll Bridge on the GSP. Anything north of that bridge is NOT Central Jersey. From the Driscoll, draw a line to Princeton, and then from there a line to Manasquan. Everything within that roughly made triangle is Central Jersey.

Some may argue this area should be larger. It should not. Inhabitants of North and South Jersey will claim this region does not even exist - mostly because of the contempt they feel for our lack of enthusiasm at being defined as Northern or Southern. Central Jersey is the essence of New Jersey - we have minimum violence, low poverty, high incomes, the beautiful / not tourist beaches, and kind people. We do not have pine barren forests, hoagies, guidos, landfills, or petroleum refineries.

If you really want to see the real New Jersey, come visit Central Jersey and you'll understand why we separate ourselves as we do.

Mustafa Shopping Centre

Singapore’s popular hangout for migrant workers, and a destination of choice for budget tourists, which is arguably ground zero for the high number of corona infected cases that had plagued the “fine” island-state.

Although safe distancing measures were in place at the dormitories long before the lockdown started on April 7, with thousands of migrant workers socializing and shopping at Mustafa Shopping Centre on their off days, it’d have been a miracle or modern-day Passover had God graciously and completely spared the mostly Hindu and Muslim migrants from the coronavirus.
