Noob

Someone who is new to something, usually a video game, and have no idea what's going on. Most will not listen to advice from people who are not noobs. Some people find noobs annoying.

I'm considered a noob myself to a video game I recently started playing, but you can call me the good version of a noob; I'm willing to listen to others and thank them for the advice.

I'm serious. I'm one of the rare types of noobs--the less annoying, mature one that's willing to receive advice.
