Literally translates to "growing mushrooms," implying something that happens slowly and passively without much effort.Similar to Romanian expressions like "frec menta" (rubbing mint, meaning to dawdle or mess around) or "tai frunze la câini" (cutting leaves for dogs, meaning to do something useless). It carries a vibe of chilling or slacking off when you should probably be doing something else.Example:
