Player

A player is a male or female who talks to more than one person in their life. There can be love there, but the player never lets it get serious. Once they get in a relationship, the player must retire their player card because cheating is shitty. A TRUE player keeps things 100 with open communication: not hiding the fact that they speak to more than one person. The common misconception is a player is a jerk, because the player messes with people's feelings. A true player can be respectful towards people as long as he/she is being honest about the fact that they're not ready for a relationship. Not all people are ok with this so the player needs to make intentions clear before he/she accidentally leads the person on.

noun. a person who flirts intensely with several people at once for a short period of time to get them to fulfill their own personal desires. Players tend to make each individual feel special and loved, when in fact, they do so to several others at the same time. Often times people who are players prey on attention deprived and lonely individuals, because those are the ones who will fall for their tricks and be more desperate: meaning they're more vulnerable and easier to use. Despite the horrible intentions that players have, they tend to do so out of deep rooted insecurity or are desperate to fulfill their personal desires. Their personal desires can be, but are not limited to: sex, money, a confidence boost, and etc. Players tend to lie A LOT to manipulate you. They will say things such as "You're the only one I talk to." "I love you, and only you." "No one can replace you." "I've never liked someone like this before." "I've never dated before." "I'm single and recently broke up with my gf because her parents disapproved..." They gain your trust just to use you and throw you out like trash. Players tend to be physically attractive and have this unique charm to them, but don't be fooled-their personality is literal ASS

Person 2: Are you sure? Yesterday I saw him making out with ___ and my friend, _______, showed me a screen shot of him flirting with her. I'm pretty sure he's a player....
