Tolerance Window

The parallel feeling, while actively consuming a substance, like weed or beer, In which you can handle properly before acting drastically different.
Drinking 3-8 beers gives yourself the same feeling, but at 1 & 2 you’re sober, and at 9 you’re an asshole.

Mike seems to be fine even though he’s been drinking for the past 2 hours, he must still be in his tolerance window.

Feeling the same amount of high with 3 hits as you do with 9 makes you still in your tolerance window.

Fault Tolerant

A word used by network admins in long confusing emails they send to try and cover up the fact they royally screwed up.
That’s the good news. The bad news is we now have to go through a process to move them back to fault tolerant which requires each store to be taken back offline while the data is duplicated to the reserve system.

toleration

The "allotment" (i.e., "ration") of patience/forgiveness/understanding that someone "sets aside" for dealing with a certain situation, person, etc. --- the larger the toleration, the less likely he is to blow his stack or be hostile/unsupportive in said instance.
If someone is hot-headed or prejudiced overall, he's not likely to give anyone whom he disagrees with much of any toleration.
