Rite of passage

A rite of passage is a ritual that marks a change in a person's social or sexual status. The term was popularised by the French ethnographer Arnold van Gennep (1873-1957), in the early part of the twentieth century.

Ritu

Someone who has features that are constantly complimented. A fashion expert with accessories that match all their outfits. Often stubborn and can get emotional easily. Don't get on the bad side of a Ritu, because if you do then she will not attend your wedding. The word Ritu in certain Asian cultures (e.g. Nepal) is used to describe someone who is immodest. She is all innocent in the daylight but the moment the curtains close the wildness in her appears.
